SKINS Pure Sport
Following the London Olympics and the ongoing Lance Armstrong saga, sport hit an all time low. Sporting headlines were riddled with news highlighting the prevalence of performance enhancing drugs in sports while legends like Tyson Gay, and Asafa Powell were being exposed as drug cheats. So we started a movement to mobilise those who believe in our purpose to ‘fuel the true spirit of competition’. We launched #ChooseTheRightTrack, a campaign against doping in sports, or more specifically, to lobby the IOC to support athletes ‘make the right choice’ when faced doping and to increase funding for anti-doping. Since then we’ve tackled the discrimination and corruption of the IOC and FIFA. After this we voiced our support for the Polynesian countries competing in the Rugby World Cup 2015 and provided compression wear to Samoa and Tonga, with the aim to increase inclusion and support of the Polynesian countries in competitive international Rugby.
