Benefits & Features

The SKINS C200 range has been developed to enhance your potential naturally. Whether you're cycling competitively or for fun, it should always be rewarding.

The Engineered Gradient Compression in these SKINS C200 women’s shorts provides the correct level of pressure to increase your blood flow. This enhances oxygen delivery to your active muscles and reduces the build-up of blood lactate – helping you to push those pedals just a little more when you need to most.

For these women’s cycling shorts, our designers have selected the Elastic Interface® Fiandre women’s chamois, which is a lightweight, three dimensional, dual density chamois with excellent freedom of movement, breathability and an anatomic fit. The special “pelvic track” allows the natural rotation of the pelvic bones to find extra support and comfort on the saddle. These SKINS C200 women’s shorts have been anatomically shaped in the riding position with a powermesh insert in the waistband for better comfort in the road bike position. They also feature 4 needle flat lock stitching for durability and comfort, and non see-through anti-pill front and back panels to protect your modesty.

In addition, these C200 bib shorts provide muscle wrapping and support to your quadriceps and hamstrings, helping to reduce muscle vibration so you feel less sore after your ride. Other features of these bib shorts include reflective heat seals for visibility at night and 50+ UV protection in non-mesh areas.

I have always been a size small in Skins, and fall right in the middle of the "Small" zone.  So I purchased a size small of these compression shorts.  I couldn't even get them past my knees!  I have given them to my 11 year old daughter and they fit her perfectly.  So be wary of the sizes of these shorts.  Also the pad is quite thin and small, more of a tri short than a cycle short.

I have worn my new shorts three times, two 50 mile rides around Yorkshire dales, and one 120 mile ride. I can feel a real difference - they are super comfy on the pad, but supportive. With noticeably less fatigue, on the hilly rides, and the longer ride, both during the ride, post ride, and the next day. No aches up and down the stairs, and feeling really fresh at the end of the ride, which makes a nice change. I liked them so much, I have bought 4 other skins compression products within a week of purchasing, and can't imagine returning to Gore, Corinne Denis or such again. I bought a medium, and usually wear a 12 with a bit of room in them, and they fit fine. The waistband is comfy, and they look nice. A good investment.
