Benefits & Features
If you’re into skiing, snowboarding or some other alpine snow sport, you’ll know that a day on the slopes can be tough on your body. Lucky for you, SKINS S400 range has been designed with insights into the sport from the Austrian Ski Federation to help you make the most of your time out on the slopes.
The scientifically proven engineered gradient compression provided by SKINS can increase your performance through enhanced circulation, greater muscle support and improved body temperature control. The compression around your torso can also help to improve core stability, which is always a good thing when you’re flying down a mountain.
SKINS thermal fabric is a blend of Polyamind and Elastane, which combines high pulling and abrasion resistance with excellent breath-ability and a soft feel against your skin. The brushed interior helps to release heat back to your body to give you a thermal advantage in cooler temperatures.
At SKINS, we like little details that deliver real benefits. The S400 Women’s Thermal Long Sleeve Compression Top has a scoop neck, articulated elbows to help prevent bunching, and a silicone gripper at the hem to stop the top riding up. Additional details include stretch mesh under the arms for ventilation.
The S400 Women’s Thermal Long Sleeve Compression Top is sure to become an essential part of your winter sports wardrobe!

I am size 90-95cm but didn't find the Small to be firm enough so bought the XS. The XS is a bit loose in the sleeve near the cuff (I have strong but lean arms) and the A400 fits better in this regard.
I must say, teamed up with my thermal Skins Tights and out of my wet weather gear, the crew say I look like (and I feel like!) Lara Croft in Tomb Raiders ;-)
I was concerned that it may be too tight under the arms however there were no areas/seams in the garment that irritated me and I really liked the underarm gusset.
I have avoided skin tops in the past because they have been too tight and high around the neck but this garment has a softly trimmed neckline, which is large enough not to strangle me but high enough to keep my upper chest warm.
I'm a small women, 33 inch chest and hips, and there is no way i would even try to force myself in to the recommended extra small! I bought the small, which is definitely firm enough to do its job without crushing me.
I highly recommend this product but think the sizes need revising though I suppose the expert opinion is 'the tighter the better!'
