Skins™ smart fabric has built in antibacterial and antimicrobial features, inherent in the polymer producing stage of the fibres. These properties, which cannot be washed out of the fabric, discourage the growth of bacteria by ionically absorbing odour causing substances, normally associated with Lycra wear.
