1996 – 1998
- The concept of a garment to aid recovery and improve performance is conceived by Brad Duffy

1996 – 2000
- Sourcing of suitable yarns and fabrics
- Physical wear tests were performed in the US, Australia and Europe, some at altitude

2000 - 2001
- Fine tuning of the garments was carried out and 3 distinct ranges were born - Jetskins, Snowskins and Sportskins

May 2002

- Jetskins were launched with Steve Waugh (ex National Cricket Team Captain) being the face of Skins™
- Specific medical testing on Skins garments began
- Production is in Sydney, Australia

Nov 2002

- Skins™ listed with the TGA

Dec 2002

- Jaimie Fuller joins the company and takes a significant equity interest

Late 2003

- Production moves to Fiji
- Australia sales agents are appointed
- Distribution partner is appointed for New Zealand

2004
- Jaimie Fuller takes full control of the business
- Patents lodged on Skins™ technology

2005

- Production is moved to China
- Skins™ range is redesigned and womens specific range is launched
- Major above the line marketing commences in Australia
- Skins™ brand and logo is redesigned and launched

2006

- Wholly owned UK subsidiary is set up for distribution in UK and Europe
- Production facility is set up in Guatemala for US, UK and EU demands
- Skins™ acquires the Radiator wetsuit business

2007

- Wholly owned US subsidiary is set up
- Distributors are appointed for 8 European countries as well as for Dubai, Japan and Malaysia
